Tough Pickups Are Normal for Us
Vancouver cars rarely break down somewhere easy. We regularly pull cars from back lanes, laneway garages, condo parkades and tight driveways where a truck can barely turn.
The gear we bring
Our flatbed and wheel lift trucks carry a winch for cars that won’t roll, plus dollies and go jacks for cars with flat tires, locked wheels or seized brakes. If a parkade has a low ceiling, tell us the clearance and we’ll send a truck that fits.

What We Pay for Scrap Cars in Vancouver
As of November 2026, our offers for a complete scrap car start around $200. Most of a scrap car’s value comes from its weight in steel, so a full size truck or SUV usually gets more than a small hatchback. The metal price also moves week to week, which is why we quote each car on the day instead of printing a price list.
What moves your number
- Weight. Heavier vehicles carry more metal.
- What’s still on it. The engine, transmission, catalytic converter and wheels all add value.
- Year, make and model. Some models have parts that are still in demand.
- The pickup. A car on a driveway is simpler than one with no wheels in a tight parkade, but we still take it.

Our Quote Promise
The price we quote is the price we pay, as long as the car matches what you described. It can only change if something major wasn’t mentioned, like a missing engine or catalytic converter, a different vehicle, or no registration in your name. If that happens, our driver tells you before any paperwork is signed, and you can say no at no cost.

What We Don’t Take
We buy whole vehicles only. We don’t sell parts, and we don’t pick up small equipment, small appliances or loose items. We can only buy a car from its registered owner, or from someone with legal authority for an estate.

Is towing free?
Yes, anywhere within about 10 km of our office. For pickups further out, we tell you any towing cost before you book.
How fast can you pick up my car?
Most South Vancouver pickups happen within 3 to 4 hours of your call. We run 7 am to 11 pm every day, so same evening pickups are common.
How do I get paid?
Cash or e-Transfer, your choice. You’re paid before the car leaves, and only then do we fill in the transfer form together.
Do I need to be there?
Yes, or someone you’ve authorized with the signed paperwork. Our driver needs to check ID and the registration and get original signatures on the APV9T.
What should I take out of the car?
Check the glovebox, trunk, door pockets and under the seats. Take your garage opener and parking passes, and unpair your phone from the stereo.
Can you take a car that’s not in my name?
Only with the registered owner’s signature, or with legal authority for an estate. We can’t buy a car without clear ownership.
Do you take cars with no keys?
Yes. Ownership is proven by the registration, not the keys. Just tell us when you book so we bring the right gear.
Do I need to come to your office?
No. Everything is done by phone, text or our form, and our truck comes to you.
